The Penderyn Madeira Finish has a light golden colour and a nose of citrus, honey, and oak. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, lemon, and honey. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of spice.

Rhiannon is the 7th chapter in Penderyn's Icons of Wales Series. Finished in sherry wood, the whisky is named after Rhiannon, an enchantress and horse goddess who could outrun any pursuer while riding slowly. Rhiannon in Welsh means 'Great Queen' or 'Divine Queen.'

On the nose, soft notes of raspberries and strawberry liqueur, as well as some melted butter, cassis, and candy canes. Hints of peanut skins and pastries. Needless to say, it is very sweet. The taste has more sweetness on arrival and is pretty much a continuation of the nose. Plenty of berries, but also some caramel sweetness. The wood has also infused some spiciness. The finish has a lingering sweetness and is somewhat drying.

The El Dorado 12 Year Old Special Reserve Rum is blended from aged stocks (the youngest being no less than 12 years old) from the original Wooden Enmore Coffey still, the original metal Diamond Coffey still, as well as from the ancient Port Mourant double wooden pot still which was used to produce ‘navy’ rum for the English Admiralty. All of the Demerara Rum produced by El Dorado is aged exclusively in American oak (bourbon barrels).

Nose: Sweet, toffee, vanilla, spices, oak. Hints of smoke.

Palate: Cocoa, caramel, prunes, spices, vanilla.

Finish: Long, sublimely smooth, hints of smoke on the tail.

100% agave reposado tequila, a unique product of the Corralejo family obtained from the triple distillation of fermented blue agave musts from Weber’s blue agave, making it an incredible purity and excellent quality product.

This calvados is the result of the blending of different Calvados Pays d'Auge aged for at least 4 years in oak barrels. Once blended, it stays in casks for enough time to obtain a characteristic smoothness.

Palate: Balanced and harmonious, vanilla notes, oaky, ripe apples and applesauce.

Maison Ferrand is one of the world's premier boutique producers of fine spirits. Founded in 1989 by Alexandre Gabriel, his mission was to preserve age-old spirit production methods, keeping the classic aromas and flavours of each spirit, yet with advanced innovation. The portfolio includes the lineup of Plantation Rum, Citadelle Gin, Ferrand Cognac, the Mathilde line of fruit infusion liqueurs and Curacao. Made with yuzu fruit, the whole fruit is placed in brandy for a week to steep. The drunken yuzu is then distilled in their copper stills. The next step is an infusion of more yuzu and other spices, using their centuries old recipes. The final result is a rich, round curacao that has a nose of spicy yuzu, tangerine, vanilla, marzipan and a delicate hint of flowers, pepper, mint and herbs. The palate follows with candied citrus fruits, tropical fruits, almonds, nutmeg and tea, and of course, more yuzu! This would make an amazing Mai Tai cocktail.

This spirit features smoky tones with a pleasant permanence in the mouth, slight minerality, and hints of aromatic field flowers. Made from Cupreata and Manso Sahuayo agave species aged 6-8 years, it hails from El Limon and La Calzonuda. The agave is cooked in a conical volcanic stone oven, crushed with a roller mill, fermented in oak wood tubs embedded in the ground, and distilled using a Philippine still with a wooden cap and copper pot.

Cascahuín Blanco tequila is crafted from carefully selected blue weber tequilana agaves sourced from the valleys area, reflecting the distinct characteristics of the region. The production process begins with the use of a masonry oven for cooking the agaves, followed by the extraction of juices through mills, where water from the own well is incorporated. During fermentation, natural yeasts from the yeast pie are utilized in both masonry and stainless steel fermenters. For distillation, a double distillation process is conducted, first in a stainless steel alembic with a copper coil, followed by a second distillation in a small 350-liter copper still with a copper coil. The tequila then undergoes maturation in spent American oak barrels, previously used for tequila for over 20 years, with a resting period lasting from 6 to 8 months in the barrels.

The 2018 Cosecha bottling is crafted from over-ripe Highland pinto Blue Weber agave cultivated at an altitude of 5,019 feet in the mineral-rich CALICHE soil of Vista Hermosa, Micohoacán, the southernmost region within the D.O. This unique terroir, saturated with calcium carbonate, imparts a heightened minerality to Tequila Fuenteseca Cosecha 2018, beautifully complementing its pure agave essence, characterized by notes of sweet, cooked yams, and warm baking spices.

This expression is reputed to contain some whisky up to 40 years old and was matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks. North America's first single malt whisky distillery. A single malt from this side of the sea, aged 10 years in oak barrels. The crystal clear water from Maclellan's Brook flows from the Mabou highlands located above Glenora distillery, giving Glen Breton its classic and pure taste. Produced by the traditional copper pot stills methods using only three ingredients: barley, yeast and water.

Hongyun lang is a high-end sauce-aroma baijiu. Its design concept comes from the blessing words "Hongyun Dang Tou" which means lucky star shining bright. The characteristics of Langjiu is all in this bottle with prominent sauce flavour, full bodied, sweet aftertaste and long lasting fragrance on empty glass. Truly a rare gem Baijiu.

Langpai Tequ T8 is a strong-aroma baijiu that is processed old mud pits. Baijiu has a very long fermentation period, from weeks to months or longer. This type of fermentation leads to a spirit very high in esters, hence the very sweet flavors.

Strong Baijiu takes some time to get used to because the flavor profile is quite different. The closest example I know of is Smith & Cross Jamaican Rum. This is a potent very high quality Baijiu full of flavor.
