The man, the myth, the untamed and refined – our Freakshow Red Wine unveils the wild, unruly blend staring our very own man meets beast. Composed of Syrah, Petite Sirah and Souzao, the 2021 act reveals aromas of juicy raspberry, black cherry, butterscotch and toasted baguette. Full-bodied with polished, velvety tannins, flavours of dried plum, crème brulee and toasted oak are carried through a long finish that will have you reaching for more.

The Prisoner Chardonnay is a rich, full-bodied Chardonnay known for its bold character and layered complexity. It typically features aromas of vanilla, baked apple, and pineapple, with flavors of baked apple, crème brûlée, and toasted oak on the palate. The wine is often described as having a bright acidity that balances the richness, creating a smooth and elegant finish. The process for Nelson Brothers Reserve begins with selecting the finest aged bourbon barrels from the Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery inventory, creating the perfect foundation of flavor and fragrance. These exceptional barrels are expertly batched into a high-proof blend rich with rye, and infused with notes of dark cherry, caramel, and spice. The result is a premium, balanced bourbon that is sure to astonish and delight anyone who has the pleasure of tasting it.

From the famous Duckhorn producers, the second label of Decoy, this "featherweight" is made with the same quality grapes as the regular Sauvignon Blanc with lower alcohol. With a sleek 80 calories per serving, the wine is crafted to the highest standards using grapes from the finest vineyards in California. The wine delivers delicate citrus notes of Meyer lemon, grapefruit, and lime; complemented by lush, tropical fruit flavors and a long, crisp finish.

The nose is fruity and offers a fine grain and a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of crushed red fruits as well as fine hints of violet and a discreet hint of cardamom and an imperceptible hint of grey pepper. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good juiciness, an acidulous frame as well as a fine tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy cassis and small notes of wild raspberry associated with fine touches of violet, liquorice stick and a subtle hint of caramelization. Tannins are well-built and racy.

This velvety spirit has some roasted apple and pear lurking beneath the cavalcade of spices that march on through the medium-long finish – nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and even some star anise make this bourbon a natural for a strong cocktail like an Old-Fashioned.

Larceny Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a premium, 92-proof wheated bourbon produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. It features a mash bill of corn, wheat, and malted barley, offering a softer, smoother taste with prominent notes of butterscotch, caramel, and honey. This small-batch bourbon is aged to a 6-year profile, providing a long, sweet, and savory finish.

Old Forester 1910 is a 93-proof (46.5% ABV) Kentucky Straight Bourbon, the final bottle in the Whiskey Row series. It is a double-barreled, "Old Fine Whisky" created by finishing mature bourbon in a heavily charred second barrel, offering a smooth, sweet, and creamy profile with notes of caramel, dark chocolate, and toasted oak.

Hirsch The Bivouac is a 100-proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, bottled-in-bond, that blends two different sourced bourbons from Bardstown, Kentucky. It features a primary blend of 3-year-old bourbon (74% corn, 18% rye, 8% malted barley) and a smaller amount of a higher malted barley, 6-year-old bourbon (72% corn, 13% rye, 15% malted barley) for added complexity. The whiskey offers a balance of sweet and spicy notes, with flavor profiles often described as having hints of vanilla, caramel, oak, cinnamon, nuts, and dark chocolate.

Powerful and rich-tasting, this wine from Joseph Wagner is velvety in texture and spicy in aroma. It drips with jammy, Port-like flavors that are backed by fine-grained tannins that tighten a bit on the finish for a good grip.

Pineapple is the “King of Fruits,” and Maui Gold pineapples . . . well, they are the King of all the pineapples! We select only the best to make the Hula o Maui. We look for almost under-ripe fruit to accentuate the fresh pineapple aromatics that are represented in the wine.

Quite possibly one of the most unique sparkling wines you’ll ever come across, the Hula o Maui is made from 100% Maui Gold pineapples, produced in the Traditional Method (Methode Champenoise). The wine is aged on the lees for 6 to 8 months to develop mouthfeel and texture but not long enough to lose its fresh fruit-forward nature.

Beginning as a trial, 100 cases were produced for the 20th anniversary of the winery. We sold out of them in a month, and we’ve been trying to keep up with the demand ever since. It is an amazing and perfectly accurate representation of Hawaii – fruity and lively.

While the nose showcases primarily grain aromas, including cracked corn and peanut shell, it also has notes of white pepper, dark cherries, brown sugar, and Hershey’s chocolate syrup—a harbinger of things to come. The palate is a chocolate lover’s dream, rich and tantalizing without heaviness. There’s also mint, cinnamon, cashew butter, and well-integrated oak; time and water bring out sweet orange. It finishes with milk chocolate, toasted nuts, and lingering cinnamon.

Nose of jammy blueberry, red cherry and pepper. Lively acidity and structure give this wine a full mouthfeel with notes of raspberry, mineral and dark chocolate with a lingering finish. SR (11/22)

Woodford Reserve Wheat is based on historical recipes but influenced by the iconic core Woodford Reserve Bourbon brand. With wheat as the dominant grain at 52 percent, followed by malt (20%), corn (20%) and rye (8%) - this whiskey was created by renowned Master Distiller Chris Morris.

Woodford Reserve — a super-premium bourbon created 23 years ago in Woodford County, Kentucky — has looked to history for inspiration in its products, but it is ultimately a modern bourbon focused on flavor. Each of the four Woodford whiskeys, along with Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, brings a different flavor profile to the palate. Bourbon is a balance of many flavors, rye is spicy, malt is nutty, double oaked is sweet and wheat is fruit-forward.

Crafted in the tradition of classic Pennsylvania or 'Monongahela' rye whiskeys, this expression pours a light amber hue and entices with aromas of sweet corn, vanilla, brown sugar, and spice. On the palate, these flavors are complemented by floral and spice notes in the background, culminating in a long and smooth finish.

Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream is a sweet, rich, and creamy liqueur made by blending Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon with rich cream. It has a flavor profile of vanilla and is often described as tasting like vanilla ice cream. This versatile liqueur can be enjoyed chilled, on the rocks, or added to coffee for an indulgent after-dinner treat.

On the nose, this whisky offers an array of inviting aromas, including polished oak pews, brandy-soaked cherries, Wine Gums, and leather, accompanied by nuances of goat's milk dark chocolate, candied nuts, and marzipan. Fruity pipe tobacco, oranges, and sliced melons add depth to the bouquet. The palate delivers a rich, fruity, and floral experience with a warm, buttery mouthfeel, featuring notes of polished oak, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla bean. Indulgent flavors of creme caramel, dulce de leche, mandarin orange, and brandy-soaked cherries unfold, accompanied by hints of tobacco, dark chocolate, and leather. The finish, of medium length, envelops the palate in warm spices, creamy vanilla, and soft fruits. While not as sherried as previous batches, this whisky exudes elegance and complexity. While its exact origins remain unclear, it is associated with a renowned distillery on the Ballindalloch Estate.

Blue Run High Rye Bourbon is distilled and aged to perfection in Kentucky, the heart of America's whiskey-making tradition. The exceptional high rye mash bill imparts a distinctive spicy note that harmonizes beautifully with the underlying sweetness of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak. The result is a rich, full-bodied whiskey with a complexity that reveals new layers of flavor with each sip.

Slow-roasted corn, marzipan, cinnamon, nutmeg, and kettle corn start this experience and slowly fade to corn on the cob with butter, salt, and pepper. Then, it’s apple cider vinegar, deep-fried mushrooms, and Nutella. Fried pie dough and hints of chocolate appear before a medium finish that has a hint of toffee.

Mike Grgich first gained international recognition at the celebrated Paris Tasting of 1976. This historic tasting gave the 1973 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay, crafted by Mike Grgich, first place as the finest white wine in the world. After this solid recognition, he started Grgich Hills winery in Rutherford Hills. 2023 marks the 100th birthday of this iconic producer who is a legend in Napa Valley. This Cabernet offers black currant and ripe black cherries, followed by forest floor and bay leaf and vanilla undertones. Bright acidity, and youthful tannins are evident; no doubt this wine has the ability to age.

Rich blackberry and plum on the nose with notes of aniseed. Full-bodied with dark bramble fruit and well-coated tannins on the palate. The long finish reveals layers of black licorice and dried sage. MB (4/22)

19 Crimes is a brand that was built on authentic stories of rebellion, defiance, loyalty and perseverance. In 1788, banishment to Australia from the UK became the punishment of choice. If you broke any one of the 19 Crimes, you sailed on a harrowing journey where months later your fate awaited. Times were tough but these individuals were tougher and they overcame adversity and insurmountable odds to ultimately claim redemption.

Unlike a typical 100% malt whiskey, Woodford Reserve is a Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey crafted from 51% malt and aged in new charred oak barrels, making it the malt whiskey for bourbon drinkers. The base of 51 % malt results in a whiskey that is richly flavorful and complex and amplifies the nutty characteristics found in the original Woodford Reserve.

NOSE
Soft nutty notes drizzled with light caramel and milk chocolate coat a layer of fruit character (apple, dried fruit, tropical fruit). Hints of brown spice, savoury mint and brown sugar mingle with a rich note of freshly milled toasted oak.

TASTE
Dark chocolate and caramel-coated nuts are dried out with a dusting of cocoa powder and brown spice. A fruit medley brightens a trace of toasted coconut and rich, bright oak character.

FINISH
Nutty and subtly sweet chocolate malt notes.

Dry, with less than 2g/l of residual sugar, this Riesling from Washington State spends some time on the lees in older oak barrels just to add a little texture, and that works: it is brimming with bright citrus and rosy apple, a little floral aroma, a tang of lemon sherbet and lots of zest. The palate has that bit of weight and texture, but those sweeping acids fire through the peachier, slightly more tropical tones, but shimmering and long and delightfully zippy and fresh.

Evan Williams Black Label is a widely popular, value-priced 86-proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. Aged for at least 4–5 years, it features a medium-amber color with a, robust, traditional flavor profile of caramel, vanilla, and oak, making it ideal for mixing or budget-friendly sipping.

Jim Beam Black 7 Year Old is a premium, 90-proof (45% ABV) Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey extra-aged for seven years in charred oak barrels. Known for its rich, full-bodied character, it features prominent notes of caramel, vanilla, and warm oak. It is considered a smooth, value-priced option for sipping neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails like an Old Fashioned.

Bacardi Limón is a citrus-flavored rum blending Bacardi white rum with the natural flavors of lemon, lime, and grapefruit for a zesty, bright, and tangy taste. It features fresh citrus aromas, hints of lemon zest and spice, and a warm, crisp finish, making it a popular mixer for cocktails like a Limónade.

Carter Vineyard is located in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA on volcanic mother rock. Fruit focused. Darker blue and black fruits of cassis, blackberry and dried blueberry supported by firm acidity and moderate tannins.

Russet in color, with rich oaky aromas. The taste is exceptionally smooth, with hints of vanilla, honey, and spice. The finish is crisp and clean, with long, lingering flavours.

The art of making fine bourbon first took place on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. You get that sense of history. The history of bourbon is the history of Kentucky, is the history of the United States. Woodford Reserve Rye uses a pre-prohibition style ratio of 53% rye in its mash bill to pay homage to history’s original rye whiskeys, making spice and tobacco the dominant note among a sea of fruit, floral, and sweet aromatics, which yields a nice sweetness and overall balance. After all - balanced rye makes a more balanced cocktail.

Nose: Spicy with distinct notes of rye, black pepper, cedar and cassia bark sweetened with a dusting of marzipan. Hints of pear, apple and almond dance in its depths.

Palate: Clove, rye, mint, molasses, sorghum and honey mingle with hints of apple and malt.

Finish: Long and sweetly spiced

Head winemaker Rob Griffin arrived in the Columbia Valley four decades ago via UC Davis and the Napa Valley and is the longest-practicing winemaker in Washington State. This wine spent 17 months in oak barriques and shows the rewards of both skill and patience. Expect ripe, juicy cherry and plum fruit with subtle smoky shading, and pair with grilled meats.

Clyde May’s Alabama Style Whiskey from Conecuh Ridge Distillery bears the name of the man responsible for the brand, Clyde May. Clyde crafted his first spirits in 1946, but it wasn’t until 2001 that the distilling operation was made legal. The company built its name around this popular “Alabama Style Whiskey”, which according to their website is finished with a hint of apple and is the Official State Spirit of Alabama. Clyde May’s Alabama Style Whiskey is bottled at 85 proof. The mashbill is 55% corn, 30% rye, and 15% barley. The whiskey is aged 6 to 7 years in oak barrels and is finished with a hint of apple.

Straight Edge is a blend of 5, 7 and 8-year-old Bourbon from Kentucky and Tennessee. The Bourbon was finished in the Napa Valley where it was aged in seasoned wine barrels. The barrels imparted toasty vanilla and dried fruit notes while also allowing the Bourbon to soften and mellow.
Aromatically intriguing with brown sugar, maple, caramelized oak, exotic spices, orange peel and campfire. The palate is velvety smooth, rich and packed with flavors of brown spice, honey and intense caramel. The complexity is apparent and the finish is persistent, long lasting and focused.
