Canadian Robert Tome learned his craft of hospitality in Italy, studying with the Italian Sommelier Association. He opened his own import agency, which quickly became one of the largest agencies in Canada representing some iconic Italian wineries. In 2017, Robert decided to challenge himself to do more and give more with a new endeavor. He sold his shares and branched out on his own to launch Tomé Group of Brands, his own wine brand making wines from Washington State and Italy. This vegan-friendly Pinot Grigio is clean and crisp, layered with notes of apple, pear, almond, and white nectarine with a twinkle of acidity. This is a great match with seafood, pasta with cream sauce, oyster, asparagus and summer salads.

From the master himself, Mastroberardino, Campania's favourite winemaker, this might be considered "entry level", but with nothing lacking in flavour and quality. Made with a blend of aglianico and piedirosso, the aromas denote fruity sensations of plum, blackberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, strawberry and cherry with hints of cinnamon. On the palate it is medium bodied with rich notes of red fruits.

This delicious Vinho Verde is a mix of three traditional grape varieties: Alvarinho, Loureiro, Trajadura. At 12.5 percent, it is light on its feet, and with bright acidity, it is vibrant. The fruit is grown on granite giving the wine all the minerality it needs to shine, and the flavours are very VV. It goes through a classic white wine ferment leaving a fruity white reminiscent of fresh tropical fruits and white flowers. Crimson and pink flashes against a plummy red base. Aromatics of currant pastries, woody spice’s, and
manuka leaf, leading to notes of forest undergrowth and florals. Moderate fruit sweetness, fine tannin and
restrained volume allow savoury elements to splice evenly into the tart red fruit. A very enjoyable aromatic
pinot noir, with good fruit density.

Label story: "When I was a youngster growing up in Rawsonville I would hike up the mountain with a few friends to a swimming spot that we discovered, to reach this pool where we had to jump off a 5m cliff. When it was my turn to jump, hesitation would creep in and taking that leap seemed impossible. With my friends cheering me on and reminding me that I can do it, I would take a deep breath and jump. Those few seconds in the air are indescribable! Shouting GERONIMO! at the top of your lungs. This wine reminds us of that leap we took starting this big venture of ours, with friends cheering and helping us, and making us realise that we can do it. Similar to the Verdelho grape, the Khakibos, known botanically as Tagetes Minuta, is a recent addition to the foothills of Stellenbosch. While neither are indigenous to the region, both have been successfully cultivated over the past twenty-five years, thriving in the distinctive climate of the Cape. Interestingly, Khakibos is also utilized as a natural repellent against insects and mosquitoes. This marks the fourth vintage of this exceptional wine, which has evolved to embody the vision of Stephanie and Etienne—a blend of Iberian white varieties, featuring drought-resistant Portuguese grapes.

From bush vines planted in 1956, this was whole bunch pressed, only the free run juice was used for natural fermentation in 3rd-fill French oak barrels. Natural style, with that hint of funk and light earthiness, lightly nutty. Lots of sour and juicy apple. Very nice fruit that becomes sweet like Mandarin and even nectarine, fully ripe, but that dry savoury acidity punches through and balances beautifully.

Commissioned to celebrate Chinese New Year, the start of the Lunar Calendar, this Canadian Baijiu offers a unique twist on the world's most consumed spirit, which, interestingly, is scarcely available outside China. Crafted exclusively with local grains to create a distinctive Canadian version of Baijiu, it features a nose with subtle hints of sweet vanilla and wheat. The taste profile is rich with flavors of mandarin and honey, leading to a significantly warming finish that leaves a lasting impression.

This rum blended with coconut extract makes one tasty piña colada shortcut. It's clear, quite sweet and palate-coating like a liqueur, with bold coconut flavor.

The nose is fruity and offers a slight freshness as well as a small crunchiness. It reveals notes of apple, crunchy peach and small notes of white flowers associated with touches of citrus, exotic fruits as well as slight hints of gunflint. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acid frame, a slight roundness, a good definition, a very fine fleshiness, suavity as well as a slight unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy peach, fleshy / juicy apple and small notes of lemon, tangerine associated with slight touches of zest, gunflint and discreet hints of vanilla.

Masahiro Kaijin Blended Whisky is a 40% ABV, Okinawan Japanese whisky crafted by the historic Masahiro Distillery (est. 1883). It is a light-bodied blend of grain and vintage malt whiskies, offering a tropical,, sea-kissed profile with notes of pineapple, vanilla, citrus, and subtle,, woody spice.

On the glass, a pale salmon colour with an amber hue appears. On the nose, hints of flint, chalk and sea minerals are supported by suggestions of blood orange and strawberry. On the palate, notes fresh guava and green apples are brightened by a lively structure and a saline finish. Elegant and utterly refreshing.

Kicks off with a pretty violet note, followed quickly by warmed plum puree and blackberry compote. The finish is laced up with toasted vanilla and dark tea accents. Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Jaén.

White grapefruit, citrus, and hints of crushed mint all emerge from the 2017 Le Blanc Sec De Suduiraut. This juicy, racy, lively dry white has medium-bodied richness, a touch of minerality, terrific purity and a great finish. It should drink nicely for over a decade.
