The Vigneto Cialdini is Cleto Chiarli's top-of-the-line Lambrusco Grasparossa. The vineyard is located in the heart of the Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro denomination, where this member of the Lambrusco family has been cultivated since time immemorial. The wine is made through a single fermentation under pressure, rather than the normal two-fermentation process of almost all other sparkling wines. This is in the brut range, with a slight sweetness detectable. Vigneto Cialdini is the name of the vineyard, dedicated to Enrico Cialdini, who was a famous general during the unification of Italy.

Dry, with less than 2g/l of residual sugar, this Riesling from Washington State spends some time on the lees in older oak barrels just to add a little texture, and that works: it is brimming with bright citrus and rosy apple, a little floral aroma, a tang of lemon sherbet and lots of zest. The palate has that bit of weight and texture, but those sweeping acids fire through the peachier, slightly more tropical tones, but shimmering and long and delightfully zippy and fresh.

In the glass, the Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc de Noir presents itself in a very pale salmon color. The aromas of gooseberries and exotic fruits are therefore intense and unusual. Juicy, elegant and absolutely innovative! A wonderful Blanc de Noir from the Middle Kingdom.

The second wine of Château Rieussec is selected on the same basis as the grand vin. Its permanent characteristic is a beautiful aromatic amplitude with a dominant citrus palette.
The name Carmes de Rieussec refers to the Carmes de Langon monks who owned the Rieussec estate in the 18th century.

SHIN Select Reserve Whisky is blended with 2 years finished whisky of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry, that are both previously aged in Japanese Shochu cask (American Oak) for 3 years.

Tasting Notes

Nose: cereal barley malt, some caramelised sugar and light treacle, hints of vanilla custard and crème brulee, fruity apples and pears, toffee and caramel

Palate: light and smooth initially, creamy caramelised sugar, caramel, fudge, toffee, vanilla, some spices begin to develop, a light wasabi heat and a little fennel give this a spiced kick

Finish: medium, balanced between creamy vanilla toffee and drying spiced oak and hints of peat

Riesling Auslese - tops 100% in sweetness. Exotic and full of honey notes with an extremely long finish. A queen, pure pleasure. The Rothenberg is a wine - very noble and smooth on the finish.Simply delicious. Goes well as a dessert or with smoked and blue cheese.

Evan Williams Black Label is a widely popular, value-priced 86-proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. Aged for at least 4–5 years, it features a medium-amber color with a, robust, traditional flavor profile of caramel, vanilla, and oak, making it ideal for mixing or budget-friendly sipping.

Jim Beam Black 7 Year Old is a premium, 90-proof (45% ABV) Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey extra-aged for seven years in charred oak barrels. Known for its rich, full-bodied character, it features prominent notes of caramel, vanilla, and warm oak. It is considered a smooth, value-priced option for sipping neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails like an Old Fashioned.

Los Haroldos Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is an Argentine red known for its intense ruby color and aromas of spiced berries (cassis, cherry), tobacco, and vanilla, with a refined palate of dark fruit, good tannins, and a long finish, often aged briefly in oak for balance, making it great with red meats and cheese.

Sovetskoe Shampanskoye Semi-Sweet is a sparkling wine from Lithuania known for its light body, refreshing quality, and balanced, noticeable sweetness. It is often made from a blend of local grapes, with some varieties also using Muscat, which gives it a fruity aroma with notes of peaches, apricots, and orange blossoms. It's typically produced using the Charmat method, preserving its fresh character and lively effervescence.

ZANIN PISTACCHIO LIQUORE is a sweet, creamy, and nutty Italian liqueur with an intense flavor of pistachios, crafted by Distilleria Zanin 1895. It is made with real pistachios, giving it a vibrant green color and a velvety texture. With an alcohol content of \(17\%\) ABV, it can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or used in cocktails and desserts, such as drizzled over ice cream or added to coffee drinks. 

Lobetia Tempranillo is a full-bodied, organic, and biodynamic Spanish red wine from the Castilla-La Mancha region. It has a deep cherry color with violet hues and offers a bouquet of red berries and cherries, sometimes with notes of spice, cocoa, and tobacco. The wine is fresh and harmonious on the palate with a long finish, moderate tannins, and is versatile for food pairings with meats and appetizers.

Bottega Pesca Grappa is an Italian liqueur (16%) that blends the essence of ripe peaches with grappa. It offers a smooth and fruity profile with a distinct grappa character. The tasting notes highlight a fruity aroma of ripe peaches, often with subtle floral or almond hints. The taste is described as soft and full-bodied with a natural sweetness from the peaches, sometimes with honey tones and a hint of spiciness. The finish is long and elegant, with the peach flavors lingering and a gentle warmth from the grappa.

This bright pale greenish-yellow wine presents an intriguing bouquet of toasted nuts and ripe apples, accented by touches of quince and melon. The taste is fresh, with mild acidity and a gently sweet, round profile, dominated by delightful notes of candied quince peel.

This intense, inky, extra-ripe wine takes concentration to the next level. It is saturated with dried plum, black raisin and blackberry jam flavors on a tannic but still smooth texture, and drinks almost like a Port.

Extraordinarily aromatic, with notes of overripe banana, green papaya, molasses, toasted almond, and fermented mango. The palate offers more decadent notes of milk chocolate and spiced figs, but not without a peppery kick and touch of funk that this distillery is known for. Outstanding.

From the Brandini winery, Alta Langa is a DOCG with Methode Champenois style sparkling wine. These beautiful wines spend 48 months on the lees, making the ageing longer than even Champagne. The aromas of bread crust perfectly blend with floral notes and hints of candied fruit. The perlage is fine with a great acidity and a long-lingering finish. Champagne flavour at a fraction of the price!

Santa Cristina Casasole Orvieto Classico is a light straw yellow, slightly sweet (
) white wine from Umbria, Italy, typically blending Procanico and Grechetto grapes. It offers intense aromas of banana, green apple, citrus, and orange blossom. Featuring 12.5% ABV, it is fresh, balanced, and ideal for pairing with light meals, seafood, and fruit desserts.

From the Bolgheri DOC, the Poggio Al Tesoro is owned by the Allegrini family of Valpolicella fame. Named after the Seggio river that crosses the vineyard, it is a blend of 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. The nose exhibits lovely fresh, crunchy fruit, enriched with mineral and spicy notes. The palate is medium bodied with hints of red berries and elegant silky tannins. A great wine for the price point!

Chiaretto is the term used for rosati crafted by the shores of Lake Garda. The Gorgo winery practices oraganic winemaking and this fresh and vibrant wine made from the Valpolicella grapes of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara offers aromas of strawberry, raspberry and peach. The palate has high acidity balanced nicely with the small red berries, red apples and peaches.

With about 19 different Lambrusco names in the family, one of the most common is Salomino. This wine is made from Lambrusco Salomino for the tannins, roundess and black fruit it also has a touch of Sorbara, for freshness and acidity. A perfect pairing with parmigiano cheese drizzled with Balsamic vinegar, Tagliatelle with Bolognese or Gnoccho Fritto, the local dish of deep fried bread with prosciutto.

This beer has a deep brown color with a creamy foam head. It has aromas of caramel, malt, and dark fruit, with a flavor that is both sweet and bitter. The taste includes notes of raisins, plums, and caramel, and finishes with a slightly bitter aftertaste. It is often paired with hearty dishes such as stews and roasts.

Located in Calabria, the toe of Italy's boot, Cirò is the only DOC of the region for red wines, it is made from 100% Gaglioppo.
