Without a doubt, Chateau Troplong Mondot has one of the most enviable and unique terroirs on the St. Emilion appellation on Bordeaux's Right Bank. Specifically located on the highest point of Saint-Emilion's famous limestone plateau, the 43ha estate has ideal soils and exposure. The resulting wines combine strength and elegance, complexity and precision. Like Brane-Cantenac, Cantenac Brown is one of the big outperformers in Margaux this year. Is it better than the 2009? It is probably more a question of taste. The 2010 wine is characterised by ripe black fruits well woven together into a sweet oak framework. This is a classic ‘silky’ Margaux but with very present refreshing acidity. Good length. A really successful wine this and with Brane-Cantenac surely a must buy in this vintage.

A discreet but appealing red wine, with firm tannins that already shows a great potential. The only Cote de Beaune appellation of the domaine.

Highland Park Cask Strength No. 5 (2024) is a 64.7% ABV, non-chill filtered single malt matured in a mix of first-fill European oak sherry, Pedro Ximénez sherry, and ex-bourbon casks. It features intense, complex flavors of dried fruit (prunes, dates), winter spices, cocoa, and light oak, finishing with lingering smoky heather and sweet spices.

Bollinger PN VZ19 (Base 2019) is a Blanc de Noirs Champagne highlighting Pinot Noir from Verzenay (main component) along with Aÿ, Avenay-Val-d'Or, and Tauxières, based on the 2019 vintage. Hernö Navy Strength Gin, a bold flagship rich in flavour, is made from the same distilled gin as Hernö Dry Gin, but diluted to 57% vol. instead of 40,5% vol. The difference in aroma and taste is very clear, and Hernö Navy Strength Gin has a richer flavour with bolder juniper, coriander and citrus.

Catena Zapata Adrianna Vineyard Fortuna Terrae is a prestigious, high-altitude Argentine Malbec from deep, loamy soils in Mendoza, known for its intense floral (violet, hibiscus) and dark fruit (blackberry, cherry) aromas, layered with spice, herbs, and mineral notes, offering a rich, mineral-driven, powerful yet ethereal palate with fine tannins and long finish, aged in foudres/concrete for purity, pairing beautifully with grilled meats.
