The Talisker 2023 Special Release, also known as "The Wild Explorador," is an intensely robust, non-age-stated single malt. Bottled at a natural cask strength of \(59.7\%\) ABV, this maritime whisky is finished in a unique combination of Ruby, White, and Tawny Port casks, masterfully balancing sweet dark fruit with the distillery's signature peppery kick.

The nose of this whisky evokes a maritime atmosphere, reminiscent of a beach bonfire with dry seaweed, followed by deeper notes of saltiness and marine elements, all underpinned by the scent of fresh linen. On the palate, it offers a smooth and oily texture, with a delightful sweetness accompanied by smoky and spicy notes, reminiscent of a fruit orchard enveloped in smoke and sea mist. The taste culminates in a fine balance of saltiness and spiciness, leading to a powerful chili pepper sensation upon swallowing. When diluted, the sweetness and saltiness become more pronounced. The finish is long-lasting and lightly smoky, with a lingering warmth from the spices.

Spicy, mellow smoke on the nose and a honeyed sweet maltiness with an explosion of pepper. On the palate, sweetly mellow and rich followed quickly by a spicy heat, like a gathering Storm. The flavour is elegantly drawn out with a balance of sweetness, smoke and salt. The finish is clean, warming, with a lasting aftertaste.

Sourced from one of the largest wine regions in Argentina, Malbec has its New World home in the vineyards of Mendoza creating beautiful wines with great intensity. The intense aromas of dark berry fruit and flavors of cassis and plum create a velvety texture and long lingering finish. It's a great texture and soft tannin feel make it the perfect accompaniment to rich meats and sweet chocolate desserts.

Exuding richness and allure, the nose offers enticing aromas reminiscent of iced cinnamon rolls, complemented by hints of orange boiled sweets, fresh sweet oak with raisins, and a subtle mint undertone. On the palate, a silky texture envelops the mouth, unveiling flavors of banana, berry jam, malt biscuit, and the classic depth of sherry oak. The finish is pleasantly long and balanced, with nuances of ground spice, dried fruit, and soft Scottish tablet, culminating in a delicate wisp of peat smoke.

The nose unveils a delightful bouquet of apple pastry, spiced currants, and orange zest, complemented by exotic hints of pineapple and fennel. On the palate, experience a burst of juicy apricot and vibrant raspberry, intertwined with notes of lemon tart and creamy almonds. The finish is long and rewarding, offering warming malt biscuit, cream sherry, and lingering vanilla notes. This expression promises a truly indulgent journey of flavors, leaving a lasting impression with its complexity and richness.

Aromas of newsprint, damp foliage, and wood spice dominate on the nose. Confident, almost fizzy sherry notes on the full palate, with sultanas, figs, and fruit spices. It becomes progressively more citric. The lengthy finish produces dark chocolate dipped in chili sauce. A sherry-soaked dram.

Over 180 years of distilling expertise result in the classic character of Tanqueray. On the nose, juniper is in the foreground, accompanied by citrus and coriander; dry and very balanced, with a hint of sweetness and a reserved, elegant delivery of flavours; the finish is medium in length, with all elements in harmony.

Tapatio Excelencia Gran Reserva Extra Añejo is a premium, 100% blue agave tequila from La Alteña distillery in Jalisco, aged for approximately four years in deeply charred American white oak barrels. Originally a private reserve for the Camarena family, it offers a complex, intense profile with notes of vanilla, caramel, cooked agave, and spices.

This Brut made as a Crémant highlights the typical freshness and fruity aromas of the varietal. Fresh, refreshing and fun. The vineyards lie in one of the sunniest spots resulting in a delicate salmon color with aromas of rose petals, cranberries with a twist of hazelnuts. Flavours of crushed strawberry, raspberry and apples.

Tatenokawa Phoenix Rainbow Label is a premium Junmai Daiginjo produced in collaboration with the French rock band Phoenix, featuring 100% Yamagata-grown Dewasansan rice polished to 50%. This 14% ABV sake offers a, crisp, fresh profile with aromas of pear and apple, balanced by subtle umami. It is designed to be a versatile pairing for sushi, roast meats, and seafood.

Tatsuriki Junmai Daiginjo Akitsu is an ultra-premium, aged sake from Honda Shoten, brewed using top-tier AAA Akitsu Yamadanishiki rice polished to 35%. It features complex aromas of melon, honeysuckle, and pear with a delicate, velvety texture and a long, refined finish. Aged for at least 5-8 years, this complex sake pairs well with delicate, high-end dishes.

Tatsuriki Tokubetsu Honjozo "Seiryu" (Blue Dragon) is a premium,, clean, and crisp Honjozo sake from Hyogo Prefecture's Honda Shoten. Known for a refreshing yet mellow flavor profile, this versatile, light-bodied, and smooth sake is brewed with a special technique, making it a well-balanced and easy-to-drink choice.

 Taylor's wines are lovely across the spectrum including this 10-Year-Old. Light ruby/tawny colour. Spicy, with lots of walnutt-y and caramel notes, exotic spices and tobacco. Fruit comes to the fore on palate, red berries perhaps, but the mellow barrel-aged warmth re-emerges into a long finish with a little bolstering tannin and good acidity. Pair with a baked fig pudding or chunk of mature cheddar.

This exquisite rum showcases an intense amber tawny hue. Its opulent and inviting nose reveals a plethora of complex aromas, including spicy notes, jammy fruits, and nutty undertones, complemented by hints of orange flower and a subtle oakiness derived from extensive cask aging. On the palate, it offers a full-bodied and concentrated flavor profile, with rich and velvety textures that linger on the palate, culminating in a long and mellow finish that leaves a lasting impression.

Who is afraid of warm years? Hardly the Port elite. Aromas of tropical woods, black cherry and Assam pepper, allspice, poivre long. Short softness, firm acidity, then a gripping, dry but ripe tannin. With air contact, the port becomes increasingly floral and slate-spicy. (A bottle of this port was also the first Port in Space!)

A sweet fortified red made from a blend of wines aged for an average of 30 years in oak casks before being bottled. Complex in its aromas and flavors, it shows ripe, jammy fruit followed by floral notes, herbs and sweet spices and dried fruit, plums and licorice, all supported and balanced by refreshing acidity and a firm, creamy texture. Alcohol 20%.

Taylor Fladgate 40 Year Old Tawny Port is a rare, concentrated aged Port with an intense olive-gold color and a voluptuous, viscous texture. It features a powerful bouquet and palate of rich caramel, butterscotch, roasted coffee, and a variety of nuts, with notes of dried fruit like dates and figs, and a lingering, mellow finish. This superb wine is best enjoyed slightly chilled, served on its own after a meal or with desserts featuring figs, almonds, or caramel.

Taylor Fladgate Ports represent over three and a quarter centuries of family tradition that began with the foundation of Taylor Fladgate & Yeatman in 1692. Chestnut, copper colour core with a light golden rim. The primary aromas are elegant, rich and very delicate. Notes of rum and raisin, clove, nutmeg and a hint of cracked black pepper. Prunes, quince and apricot dance on your palate as the zest of lemon and orange deliver a freshness of acidity to balance the richness of the wine. Notes of scorched pineapple, passion fruit and lychee balance beautifully with the toasted coconut, almonds and butterscotch. The texture and weight of the wine wraps the palate and finishes bright, fresh and poised. The finish just goes on and on. It is the perfect wine with which to commemorate a half century, be it a 50th anniversary or a five-decade landmark.

This blend of old tawnies was created for this limited edition in an 18th-century-style bottle. The wine is in a dry style, showing touches of older tawnies while maintaining a fruity, spicy mode. Taylor Fladgate is one of the oldest of the founding Port houses (since 1692). It is dedicated entirely to the production of Port wine and in particular to its finest styles. The VVOP is the latest in a series of exclusive releases from Fladgate. It is made from a selection of rare lots that have been maturing in wood, some before the Second World War. The wine will be represented beautifully in a bespoke decanter and accompanying wooden case. Deep chestnut brown in colour, the age is evident upon first glance. The nose has a heady aroma of butterscotch, dried figs and ground coffee, intermingling with marzipan and sultana raisins. Underneath in the background, the aromas are lifted by orange peel and apricot. Hints of vanilla, cedarwood and cinnamon provide a subtle spicy note. The complexity of this port is simply astounding. The acidity is still bright, yet the flavours are mellow and will emerge on the seemingly endless finish. Very few ports retain such balance and finesse after so many years maturing in cask. This is surely a port collectors masterpiece.

A 2 Year Old Straight Bourbon from Texas distillery, Ironroot Republic. This has been distilled from a mash of 100% Bloody Butcher Corn, meeting the requirements for Bourbon having been matured in a new charred oak barrel (Char 1 - Heavy Toast).

An absolutely striking variety of Heirloom corn grown since the 1800’s, Bloody Butcher is probably the deepest red corn available anywhere. Ears grow to 12″, with a deep and bright red colour.

The distillery uses multiple varieties of corn, rye, wheat, and barley. The vast majority of which are grown within 60 miles of the distillery.

Bloody Butcher Corn is a pretty important grain for Ironroot Republic. They use it as a flavouring grain in about 20% of the whiskeys that they make, so to have a single cask 100% Bloody Butcher Corn Bourbon is kind of a big deal
