This noble blend of selected Friulian red grapes is aged in French oak barriques within the traditional cellars of the Tosolini Family. The oak casks are toasted with "Kentucky" tobacco leaves, creating a deep and intense smoked Grappa. The result is a peated taste reminiscent of a single malt-aged whiskey, featuring harmonious spicy notes and a light smoke finish.

This vineyard designate has distinctive and palate-penetrating pine needle accents. It's tight and focused, mixing cranberry and tart raspberry fruit with a light suggestion of truffly umami. Beringer Private Reserve represents the pinnacle of the portfolio. Former Chief Winemakers Myron Nightingale and Ed Sbragia created the Private Reserve program in 1977 with the goal of crafting Napa's finest Cabernet Sauvignon.

This blend contains a high proportion of Sémillon alongside Sauvignon Gris. It is a tangy, orange zest-flavored wine, with ample acidity as well as ripe apricot and spice flavors. It's a wine to drink from 2019.

This is rich in cask characters, with baked orange, pronounced nutmeg notes, mace, peppercorn, and petrichor. The opening flavors of dark orange and syrupy caramel swerve headlong into pepper, root ginger, allspice, and nippy clove. Despite appearances, this is not awash with sherry-dominated fruitiness, but the finish is long, with spice-led dried fruits.

Rather than sourcing the grapes from all across the Beaujolais region, each individual Cru has their own terroir and soil structure; all made with 100% Gamay with the resulting wines unique and set-apart from each other. Ths Saint-Amour Esprit de Séduction (the most northern Cru) displays an intriguing deep-ruby colour. The palate is round and balanced with seductive and aromatic black berries. The 2019 Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru has a bit of SO2 reduction on the nose, though this gradually blows away. It doesn't reveal much, and I find others convey more personality. The palate is well balanced with a fine lime and orange pith entry and good weight, yet it needs more detail and mineralité towards what feels like a rather conservative finish.

Bisci is synonymous with Verdicchio, being crafted in the mountain area of Matelica and staying true to the terroir giving wines that are more austere and higher in acidity. This is a great wine of typicity with a nose full of green and yellow apple, Anjou pear, yellow flowers, even hints of pineapple but still with the mineral nuances, and even a flinty petrol. On the palate that lees ageing was evident as it was very textural and almost tannic, which lends itself to a full bodied wine. More flavours of yellow apple and pear, great minerality and of course, bitter almond. If one is looking to try Verdicchio for the first time, this is a good place to start!

The white grape of Verdicchio makes a surprisingly delicious sparkling wine! Made in the Martinotti method (tank), the wine is finished as extra brut and is dry in the mouth with fine bubbles and notes of lemon curd, sweet almond and sponge toffee.

The Bisci vineyards were purchased in 1972, of the 25ha, 18ha of which are planted to Verdicchio, Marche's signature grape variety. The winery was then built in 1980 and the company has been certified organic since 2016. The grapes for this wine also come from the Vegneto Foglia vineyard, then further bunches selected, but it's only produced in the best vintages. the resulting wine is concentrated and rich with full bodied aromas and flavours of yellow fruits, aniseed and almond. Ageable.

For over 50 years, the Bisci family has been making Verdicchio in the district of Matelica. Verdicchio, one of Italy's most ageable white grapes shows two expressions: rounder and richer in Jesi, but more austere, higher acidity and mineral in Matelica due higher elevation and mountain terroir. The single vineyard of Vegneto Foglia has 45 year old vines with a south facing exposure. The wine is complex with yellow fruits and chlorophyll notes. The palate is structured and textured, built for ageing.
