Colour: Deep crimson.

Aroma: An intense aroma of ripe Satsuma plum, mocha, vanilla and savoury notes combine with hints of cedar and sweet spices.

Palate: Rich, sweet fruit is balanced wonderfully with briary and sweet spices and lovely, silky tannins. A full-bodied, textural wine, showing great complexity with hints of cedar and allspice flowing through to the lengthy, brambly fruit finish.

Langpai Tequ T8 is a strong-aroma baijiu that is processed old mud pits. Baijiu has a very long fermentation period, from weeks to months or longer. This type of fermentation leads to a spirit very high in esters, hence the very sweet flavors.

Strong Baijiu takes some time to get used to because the flavor profile is quite different. The closest example I know of is Smith & Cross Jamaican Rum. This is a potent very high quality Baijiu full of flavor.

Lanson Rose Label Brut is a vibrant, pale salmon-pink champagne known for its high-toned freshness, characteristic of Lanson’s signature style that avoids malolactic fermentation. It offers delicate aromas of rose petals and red berries (strawberry, redcurrant) with a crisp, dry palate and long-lasting, refined bubbles.

This limited edition release from Laphroaig, bottled in March 2017, underwent a unique maturation process. Larceny Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a premium, 92-proof wheated bourbon produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. It features a mash bill of corn, wheat, and malted barley, offering a softer, smoother taste with prominent notes of butterscotch, caramel, and honey. This small-batch bourbon is aged to a 6-year profile, providing a long, sweet, and savory finish.

Latitude is 100% Côte des Blancs Chardonnay from vineyards on the southern side of Vertus. These vineyards are on roughly the same latitude, hence the name, which also hints at the breadth of texture that the wines from these sites (having more clay in the soil) tend to offer up.

This wine originates from vineyards with mostly clay soil. The grapes are carefully hand-harvested and then undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Afterward, it matures for one year in Chesnut barrels before spending another year in stainless steel tanks before being bottled. On the nose, the wine offers an intense and alluring aroma, featuring plum, black cherry, dried figs, walnut husks, and unpeeled almonds, complemented by subtle hints of dried flowers. In the mouth, the wine presents a dry and soft character with a pronounced freshness. The moderate acidity is balanced by firm and velvety tannins, creating a harmonious and enjoyable experience. This wine is made exclusively from 100% Gaglioppo grapes, showcasing the unique and distinctive qualities of this variety.

Le Blanc d'Aiguilhe is a premium white Bordeaux wine from Château d'Aiguilhe in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux region, owned by Count Stephan von Neipperg. Primarily 100% Sauvignon Blanc (with minor Sauvignon Gris), it is known for its intense citrus, floral notes, mineral-driven, chalky profile, and bright acidity, often described as Loire-like.

White grapefruit, citrus, and hints of crushed mint all emerge from the 2017 Le Blanc Sec De Suduiraut. This juicy, racy, lively dry white has medium-bodied richness, a touch of minerality, terrific purity and a great finish. It should drink nicely for over a decade.

Crafted with elegance and power, Le Carillon De L'Angelus 2016 offers a full-bodied profile with vibrant acidity and layers of dark fruit —an exceptional wine that captures the soul of its vineyard with every sip.

Now benefiting from its own dedicated winery, the 2021 Le Carillon d'Angélus is no longer a "second wine" per se, but rather draws on some 25 hectares of dedicated vineyards, emphasizing Merlot from the cool terroirs of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, complemented by holdings in the gravelly Figeac sector and on clay soils near Angélus itself—with anything that doesn't make the cut relegated to the No. 3 d'Angélus. "Scented red berries on the nose, creamy, floral, perfumed, juicy and fresh, with savoury herbal aspects too. Sleek and so refined, this is fresh and captivating but with weight and density. Mouthwatering acidity gives the life and the spark straight away, with firm but fresh and cool tannins supporting the fruit, present but not too much, giving the frame and the nuance. Tannin management is excellent with blue fruits, liquorice and subtle sweet tobacco notes. Bright, shining and sleek, this is both juicy and layered, mineral and fruity, while retaining freshness and bite. Leaves a lingering impression and has great ageing potential."

The Le Clarence Haut-Brion is the 2nd wine of the first growth Chateau Haut-Brion. It was in 2007 that this wine was renamed Le Clarence Haut-Brion as a tribute to Clarence Dillon, who acquired the property in 1935. The 2016 vintage is a blend of 51% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. It has a beautiful nose of cassis, violets, graphite and crushed rocks. Medium to full body, it has good concentration, grainy tannins and finishes with a long mineral note. Drink until 2036.

The Le Clarence Haut-Brion is the 2nd wine of the first growth Chateau Haut-Brion. It was in 2007 that this wine was renamed Le Clarence Haut-Brion as a tribute to Clarence Dillon, who acquired the property in 1935. This blend of 73% Merlot, 16% Cabernet France and 11% Cabernet Sauvignon has fruity red fruits on the nose with a smooth, concentrated palate.This a charming, pleasant wine.

The 2020 Le Clarence de Haut-Brion is a rich, full-bodied Bordeaux blend with deep purple color, bursting with ripe black fruit (black cherry, blackberry, plum), earthy notes (graphite, scorched earth, crushed rocks, tobacco), spice (cedar, incense, herbs), and hints of pencil shavings, all wrapped in a velvety texture with firm, polished tannins and a long, spicy finish, promising great aging potential. It's considered a powerful yet balanced wine, showcasing classic Graves character with excellent concentration and freshness. 

There is 52% Merlot in the blend and it shows in an enticing, opulent aroma of plum and blackberry. A little more backward than the other wines in the Haut-Brion stable so far, but all the ingredients are there to make a brilliant wine. There is a great depth of ripe fruit, impressively fine tannins, lovely balance and excellent length. It is superbly fresh and has exceptional potential for the future.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of DBR (Lafite) in Chile, the first great vintage LE DIX was created. Since then, the high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon years have been selected from vineyards over 70 years old located on a soil called "El Fraile."
The wine is distinguished by its complexity, balance, and elegance, with a powerful tannic structure and very ripe fruit flavors enhanced by spicy, cedar, bay laurel, and eucalyptus notes.

Le Grappin began in 2011 with a vision to seek out special sites in the over-looked, under-appreciated reaches of Burgundy and to seek out viticulteurs who tend their vines throughout the year with exceptional care and attention, to give the grapes the best opportunity to shine. This wine comes from the Beaune Premier Cru, made from 100% Pinot Noir from 40 year old vines. It has aromas of red berries, black cherry, and a hint of earth. On the palate, it is dry, medium-bodied, well-balanced, and elegant, with flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and a touch of spice with a long smooth finish.

It has a deep ruby color and aromas of dark fruit, spices, and vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and a long finish. This wine is best paired with hearty meat dishes, such as grilled steak or roasted lamb. Overall, it is a high-quality wine that showcases the unique characteristics of the Refosco grape and the terroir of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

Le Petit Cheval Blanc 2023 is an exceptionally fresh and aromatic white Bordeaux, characterized by a 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon blend. It features bright, high-tensile notes of linden, lime, Bergamot, white grapefruit zest, and greengage, offering a "piercing" and "crystalline" mouthfeel with subtle oak integration and a long, savory finish.

The 2016 is a red wine blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc. The wine has notes of black fruit and cocoa bean on the noes with a dense texture and elegant tannins. The palate is full-bodied with notes of black currant, pencil shavings and spice that lead into a very pleasant long finish. Drink from 2026-2036.

“The blend of the 2015 is 80% Merlot and 20% Cab Franc, the vines (average age of 31 years) are located in the south of the Saint Emilion village where the soils are clay based with sand and gravel. Fermentation and ageing in concrete vats and then another 12 months in barrels. The winery converted to full organic farming in 2020."

The 2004 Le Pin is a highly-rated, opulent Pomerol known for its plush, fleshy texture and complex aromas of ripe black fruits (plum, cherry), cassis, espresso, vanilla, and earthy notes, offering a luxurious experience with smooth tannins that can be enjoyed young or aged, showcasing the vintage's quality despite challenges.

The 2017 Le Pin is a highly sought-after, 100% Merlot Pomerol known for its exceptional elegance, depth, and balance, offering complex notes of black fruit (cherries, plums, raspberries), floral hints (violets, lilacs), earthy tones (truffle, forest floor, ironstone), and spice, all carried by silken tannins and vibrant freshness for a long, fragrant finish, showcasing remarkable complexity for the challenging vintage.
