Bone dry and minerally, with a stony austerity to the lemons, limes, pears and pineapples. Enormously complex in the interaction of fruit, acidity, lees, oak and fine, subtle tannins. Chablis-like and elegant, and should show evolutionary development over the next six years.

Satsuma peel, mandarin segments, butter biscuits, dry oak, bookbindings, and hints of baking spices on the nose. Warm orange, sweet vanilla, creamy pudding, sherbet, and a mellow pepperiness on the palate, but as the citrus theme swells, a taste of grapefruit bitterness washes over it, making for a sharp, bitter finish. With its 46% malt content, this has grace, but seems a bit mild for a warrior pirate queen’s tastes

This sleeper single malt has a sublime aroma of bread dough that barely hints at the lively flavors that await in the glass, which include freshly shelled almonds, sweet berries, and clover honey, plus a toasty finish with a lovely (if not overly long) chocolate note. Another Port success from the Branco family of Quinta do Portal, following their success with the 2003 vintage. This is a lovely, lively wine, with fresh acidity alongside good, mature fruit. It is ripe but very elegant, with a sweet, dried fruit aftertaste.

A deep golden yellow color, the nose is expressive with notes of fresh breadcrumbs, a touch of toast and butter, and a hint of minerality. Full-bodied and unctuous on the palate. A great Chardonnay, rich, mineral and well-balanced, playing in the same league as its illustrious neighbors Chassagne and Puligny!

Each batch is a little bit different, this one leaning to sweet orchard fruits, nutty barley, and hot spicy rye. Butterscotch and vanilla on the nose translate well onto the palate. Brisk peppery spice underlies developing layers, adding another dimension of complexity to an already broad range of flavors. Hints of oak tannins on the finish remind us this was finished in Canadian wood.

Bags of orris root florality. This gin would work exceptionally well in an Aviation cocktail. Lingers well, nice texture. Pine could be boosted tbh.

Chiyomusubi Pure Malt Whisky Mizunara (700mL) is a refined Japanese blended malt (containing both Chiyomusubi and imported malt whisky) matured in rare Japanese Mizunara oak. It features a smooth, well-balanced profile with distinct aromas of sandalwood, coconut, and vanilla, followed by flavors of honey, spices, and a gentle wood finish.

Kirakucho Honjozo is a smooth, versatile, and lightly aromatic sake from Kita Brewery in Shiga, featuring a 65% rice polishing rate (using Yamadanishiki/Nihonbare). It offers a balanced, rounded texture with subtle rice umami and a clean finish. This "Notu" style brew is excellent at various temperatures, from chilled to warmed. 

Hakkaisan Sparkling Nigori is a premium, bottle-fermented Junmai Nigori from Niigata, Japan, offering a sophisticated, creamy, and lightly sweet profile with natural, fine effervescence. It features aromatic notes of tropical fruits, lychee, and dairy. This crisp, refreshing sparkler is best served well-chilled, making it an excellent aperitif or pair for spicy, rich dishes and desserts.

Moutai Chun 1998 is a premium, 53% ABV baijiu produced in China's Guizhou Province by the renowned Kweichow Moutai distillery. It was created to commemorate the launch of the Moutai Chun brand. This sauce-aroma spirit is prized for its mellow, velvety texture and complex, sweet-savoury flavor profile.

A big Benriach, taking the distillery's fruity spirit and adding layers of rich and dark flavour to it. Aged for 12 years in bourbon, sherry and port casks, it's a spicy dram with loads of dried fruit and soft spice.

A 12 year old Glen Grant single malt, launched in mid-2016 with a rather sleek and handsome new bottle design. Still shows off the classic Glen Grant style - honey'd malt, sugared almond and ripe apple notes galore!

The founder's reserve is quintessential Glen Garioch; it pours a bright amber colour with aromas of sweet vanilla, grapefruit, green apple and subtle spice; the palate has buttery creaminess leading to more flavours of vanilla and green apple; citrus notes add to the cleanliness while the finish remains subtle and elegant.

After spending 9 years in American oak, the spirit was further matured in French oak barrels that previously held Napa Valley Bordeaux varietal red wine which added perfumed aromatics and rounded out the mouthfeel. The spirit was then tamed with pristine wine country water. Nose: Intense and inviting with caramelized sugar, baking spices, dark fruits, butterscotch and vanilla notes.
 
Palate: Smooth, ultra rich and layered.
 
Finish: Honey, toast and loads of caramel.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of DBR (Lafite) in Chile, the first great vintage LE DIX was created. Since then, the high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon years have been selected from vineyards over 70 years old located on a soil called "El Fraile."

The Santenay 1er Cru 'Les Gravières' 2020 is 100% Pinot Noir from the one of the most well-known premier cru in Santenay. Wine from here will have rich flavours and high acidity. Elodie's Pinot Noir has aromas of plum, cassis, chocolate and spice. The palate is fleshy and full-bodied with concentrated fruit, smooth tannins and a lengthy finish.
