Temperance Chérie is a comfort beverage, as welcome as a warm hug on a cold day. Ripe cherry notes mingle with the best of British Columbian apples to create a sparkler that hints of orchard blossoms kissed by the sun.

Another great wine from the winemaking team at Casale del Giglio, this is another "petit" wine, although there's nothing little about it. Typically the grape used in Bordeaux blends to provide the tannic backbone, it's seen more and more often as a monovarietal wine. The Petit Verdot is part of a special research project that was launched in 1985 with the goal to identify maximize the territory’s potential for quality viticulture. Finding ideal growing conditions with respect to climate, elevation, and soil, the Petit Verdot matures into an elegant and full-bodied red wine with great berry flavours. Velvety and ripe tannins provide a great backbone. A complex wine with great aging potential.

The Sauternes Cask Matured limited edition from Kilchoman has been fully matured in ex-Sauternes wine casks, offering a remarkable balance of buttery sweetness, barbecued pineapple, candied ginger, and floral peat smoke. Selected by Kilchoman Founder Anthony Wills, this whisky combines the natural peat smoke and citrus character of Kilchoman with layers of dark fruits, rich spices, and salted caramel sweetness. The nose presents creamy, buttery notes with ripe fruits and subtle peat smoke, while the palate features butterscotch, floral notes, and tropical fruits, all carried by integrated peat smoke. The finish is sweet and balanced, with lingering smoke and a rich texture.

If you're looking for Beaujolais Cru, look no further. Of the 10 Cru, CLS has wines from seven. Rather than sourcing the grapes from all across the Beaujolais region, each individual Cru has their own terroir and soil structure; all made with 100% Gamay with the resulting wines unique and set-apart from each other. At the foot of the Côte du Py are the “Grand Cras” plots, a magnificent terroir composed of compacted sediments from the Côte du Py (a mixture of schist, metamorphic rock, and clay) and decomposing granite. This unique blend with the 75-year old vines produces wines with great character and complexity.
The Grand Cras is very complex and powerful. As it opens up, it presents notes of red fruit. The tannins are mature, leading into a velvety and persistent finish reminiscent of a Burgundian Pinot Noir.

The Cakebreads exemplify their dedication to quality through years of family teamwork, sustainability, and a sharp focus on fruit and terroir expression, earning them certification as a Napa Green Winery since 2008.

The wine displays a medium gold color. On the nose, it is harmonious, offering aromas of mango, yellow apple, and citrus fruit. The palate is rich and round, with a harmonious character and a long, fresh finish.

Scheurebe belongs to the spicy grape varieties and is ideal for spicy, aromatic dishes as a wine accompaniment. Its bouquet is reminiscent of cassis, ripe yellow fruits such as pear and peach. History: The vine breeder Georg Scheu succeeded in 1916 in the State Institute for Vine Breeding Alzey (30 km from Langenlonsheim) with his 88th seedling of a cross between Riesling and Silvaner in the convincing new breed - the Scheurebe.

The wine is named in honour of former owner John Xavier Merriman, who bought the vineyard in 1892 in sympathy with growers suffering from the phylloxera crisis. He played a great role in revitalizing Rustenberg and in promoting the tourism and agricultural value of Ida's valley, which is close to Stellenbosch. The wine itself is a Bourdeaux-style blend, with all of the fruit coming from the Estate. Made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the dominant grape in each bottle is whichever grape performed the best for that harvest.

The Katvis Pinot is crafted from grapes sourced from two distinct sites, a testament to the collaborative effort of Margaux Nel and Leon Coetzee, two emerging winemakers shaping the landscape of modern South African wine. Guojiao 1573 is a prestigious baijiu crafted to commemorate the revered 1573 National Treasures Cellars, acknowledged as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical significance. It pays homage to the traditional brewing techniques of Luzhou Laojiao liquor, recognized as China's Intangible Cultural Heritage. Produced in the 430-year-old National Treasures Cellars, using methods passed down through twenty-two generations, this baijiu embodies China's rich cultural legacy and artisanal craftsmanship. A nose of brambly dark berries with a touch of pine needle prepare the palate for flavors of blackberry, cassis, cocoa powder, coffee bean and eucalyptus. Tannins come on a bit heavy and then recede into a minty finish.

The Fiano di Avellino is grown on the Irpinia hills, where the peculiar microclimate lends the wine notes of toasted hazelnuts and soft dried fruit. The acidity adds an extra splash of personality and makes it the perfect choice for pairing with soups, seafood and your favourite white meat dishes.

Like pinot grigio and pinot bianco are mutations of pinot noir, blanco tempranillo is a mutation of the red tempranillo grape from the Rioja region. Rare and unique, this particular wine is from a six generation winemaking family and is completely organic and biodynamic. This lovely wine is 12.5% alcohol and is perfect for the patio with aromas and flavours of white flowers, sweet pears and beeswax.

Glenmorangie A Tale of Tokyo is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky that embodies the vibrant contrasts of its namesake city. Crafted by Dr. Bill, this limited edition expression explores the use of rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks alongside sherry and bourbon casks, resulting in a uniquely balanced flavor profile. This first cask-strength expression in Highland Park’s core range was matured predominantly in sherry-seasoned American oak. Honey, bonfire smoke, orange peel, and a suggestion of treacle on the nose. Sweet and smoky on the palate, with toffee and orchard fruits turning more citric in time. The finish yields sweet spices, more honey, dark chocolate, black pepper, and bonfire embers.

The nosing passes find lightly toasted malt notes along with wood, sawdust, distant mint, and light caramel—not the most expressive Highland Park bouquet. The palate entry highlights the maltiness; at midpalate the taste becomes sweeter and honey like complementing the grain/malt base. Finishes assertively with the spirit underlining the honeyed sweetness.

Octomore 14.3 showcases the essence of Islay barley, sourced just a stone's throw from the distillery on Octomore farm, emphasizing the significance of the raw ingredient and the revival of the local farming community. Adam Hannett, the Head Distiller, skillfully extracts the essence of the Islay barley, resulting in a cereal-forward single malt whisky. Aged in a blend of first-fill ex-American whiskey casks and second-fill wine casks, the oak influence harmonizes with the grain, allowing the terroir and distinctive flavor of the Islay barley to shine through. The nose offers enticing aromas of hot, sweet mash and earthy peat smoke, accompanied by soft biscuit notes from the malted barley. The palate reveals creamy porridge and cereal nuances, balanced by hints of butterscotch, honeycomb, and a touch of vanilla, while the smoky essence lingers on the finish.

The Corton Grand Cru Les Maréchaudes from Domaine Michel Mallard stands as an exceptional wine, marrying strength and elegance effortlessly. Its bouquet is rich and complex, offering notes of wild strawberry, faded rose, humus, cigar, and toasty nuances. On the palate, this complexity is further enhanced by a delicate and well-balanced structure, culminating in a long and persistent finish that leaves a lasting impression of finesse.

Barbera d’Alba Superiore La Lisi boasts an intense ruby red hue with garnet reflections. Its aromatic profile is characterized by a fruity, vigorous, and fragrant nose, offering notes of raspberries and other berries. This wine is pleasantly savory and balanced on the palate, delivering a fresh and fruit-filled experience from bouquet to finish.

With its usual deep ruby red colour, Ornellaia 2020 stands out on the nose with ripe red fruits and delicate vanilla and gentle tobacco notes. Upon tasting, the wine reveals itself to be rounded and velvety, making an enjoyable and engaging first impression that entices for a second sip. The tannins are dense yet elegant and the finish proves to be savoury and enduring.

This Pinot from Oregon stands as a testament to the state's ability to produce wines that can indeed rival those from Burgundy. This realization is further solidified upon tasting this particular wine, which is currently in its optimal drinking window and will remain so for the next few years. It opens up slowly, revealing a salty zest of dark cherry and the wild garrigue—a type of herby scrub found in Burgundy. This wine is a gastronomic delight, becoming one of my favorites when paired with a seared steak accompanied by a red wine pan jus.

From Grand Cru villages on the Côte des Blancs, this Champagne is beautifully mineral and taut. It has white fruits and intense citrus giving texture and crispness. This is a fine wine, ready to drink.
